As the inventor of the Thermit^® welding process, the improvement of existing welding methods and development of new ones are of particular importance to us.

In doing this, our tasks range from designing the practical aspects of the process, in order to make welding easier and quicker to carry out, to computer-supported simulation of the solidification processes.

Even our ultra-modern measuring equipment is continually being developed further. They contribute to rail safety, higher passenger comfort, and minimizing maintenance costs. One of our new, innovative products in this area is RAILSCAN. This is the first measuring device to allow for constant and precise determination of the rail’s neutral temperature under all weather conditions and at any time of day, while in operation and without removing the rails.
