Rail surfacing
Wear of the rail head shortens the service life of the wheels, decreases safety, and lowers passenger comfort through vibrations and noise. By modifying the wheel contact area of the rail surface, rail life can be significantly increased. We can change the wear and corrugation resistance of rail machining and re surfacing using patented welding consumables. This can be undertaken in track, or we can supply new rail which has been surface treated in our purpose built factory in Essen, Germany.
